Curious and open-minded, Margot is fascinated by the technical know-how and aesthetics of creative industries, especially fashion, and has developed a deep knowledge of the European Union and its issues.
EUROPEAN UNION
With more than 10 years' experience as a member of the negotiating team for an Association Agreement between Andorra and the EU, she has acquired expertise in monitoring, researching and evaluating European policies. She developed her knowledge of the field and stakeholders and improved the country's positioning at EU level, contributing to the success of the negotiations.
She also gained significant experience in managing projects involving partners from public authorities, industry, research institutions and civil society. This experience improved her ability to adapt to the needs of her interlocutors and to anticipate their internal processes and logistical constraints.
FASHION INDUSTRY
Driven by her attraction to fashion and its professions, Margot built up a knowledge base about its history, designers, crafts, links with diplomacy and impact on society... She also took pattern-making classes to better understand the architecture of garments, learn how to choose fabrics and assemble her own pieces.
She completed this self-taught approach with an Executive MBA degree and the IFM-Kering Certificate in Sustainability from the Institut Français de la Mode in 2023. These programmes allowed her to go behind the scenes of the fashion industry, familiarise herself with its codes and train herself in the workings of its value chain.
Margot is also a graduate of the University of Toulouse II-Jean Jaurès (Master Recherche en Histoire in 2010) and the Collège of Europe (Master in European Interdisciplinary Studies in 2011).
She is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Catalan and has a basic knowledge of Dutch and Czech.
